1. All my "spells" come from potion vials. Ive already been told that they cannot be held for a year like normal potions, however my question is, are they vials only i can use? and if so, got any good role playing explanations why other people cant use them?
Answer: Let me take a swig at answering this…first, your potions don’t last for a year purely because of game mechanics. There are ingredients in-game that may allow your potions to last much longer up to one year. Secondly, you have the right to give your (spells) potions to whom you see fit…you could even sell them if you wanted.
2 Besides create alchemy, and potion recipes, are there any other ways for me to make actual potions?
Answer: Your character class innately begins to create potions. The “create Alchemy” skill/spell allows your class to create other “spells” from other schools of magic at half your level. For example, if you had the “create Alchemy” spell and your level was ten, you would be able to create a potion of “Dimension Door” providing you have that spell previously learned. Alchemists are the only class that allows for spell cross-over prior to being level ten.
3 am i allowed to cast (pour a potion into) a drink, so that it is cast upon the drinker when it is drank?(IE:"armor drinks").
Answer: Yes, although it is not clearly defined, most of your potions are considered ingestible, therefore pouring the contents of your “Armor” potion would provide the person drinking it five armor points.
4 Is there anything special about alchemy i should know that i dont already? (this one might be a little iffy )
Answer: You’re right, this is a tough one; I really don’t know what you know my friend.
