Message board Woes!

Fellow adventurers, I understand that some of you have contentions with the new message board...quite honestly, I do too. The good news and the bad news...

The good news is we are working on updating our website including the message boards. Additionally, we will be working on formatting the website to allow for online character updating as well as registration.

The bad news is this may not occur until mid February/March of 2010.

Hang in there folks…

I only have one problem with the new message boards - it doesn't tell me when someone responds to a thread that I have posted in. I only get e-mails when I receive a PM. This makes no sense, as when I checked my settings, it says that it will send an e-mails when someone replies to a thread too. Um...any idea about this?

It isn't too bad Kieth. The most important part is not the message board but rather the actual game itself.

Cali, its not always sending PM notices to emails either. Reliance on the sites email notifications seems less than helpful at this point. I did see in the controls something about managing subscriptions, and there is the possibility it is going into your spam box, but I think the trouble just lies with the site itself. Might be best to just come and check it once a day.

I don't really bother with that since I'm on the forum a fair bit, between extra time in computer lab classes and being bored at home. >_>;

I was having so many email problems that I changed me email account. I still only get PM notification emails on rare occasions. At our house we have the board up pretty much from the time we get home till we go to bed, but since there are two of us, neither of tend to log in unless we are posting. I try to log on at least once to be sure I don't have any PMs, but I don't always remember to do so. Which is why sometimes I don't respond too quickly. But, as Eliora said, it is the game that is important, and that is great!

Yeah, I checked my spam folder and I've got nothing. I'm on my e-mail constantly since I'm at school everyday. I just got on the forum now and saw all the posts in this thread - no e-mail to tell me this. I know it sends PM notifications to e-mail though because Stark has been getting them at his address. That's why it's weird. Some accounts are fine and some aren't. *ponders* Ah well, until this is fixed I'll have to check the boards more.

Wait, I was actually RIGHT at the end of all that. If I had stopped the ceremony the demon wouldn't have been summoned and that would have been worse in the long run. So NYEAH.
