This game was tons of fun. I'm sad I had to miss part of it! Anyway, I'm probably forgetting a few, but these are the ones that stand out for me:
Tabris spending a lot of time hanging out amongst the trees, setting watch over the portal. I love how well that works for the plot involving the portal now. Also, it was nice for when those... shadow guys (a wraith and something else, right?) attacked the tavern, I was the only one outside. I was convinced that the wraith would be able to see where I was hiding, since it seemed to be looking at me so many times, but I was able to get my surprise attack in. Of course, it just had to be on the one that was incorporeal... >.<
Being about to go to bed Friday night (or Saturday morning, technically), getting my last piece of armor off, and hearing, "PRAISE TOROM!" from outside. Although, Stark's reaction was much more amusing than mine, I admit. Still, it was worth it to get that light spell in the end.
The potatoes. They were delicious. And the added effects weren't bad either.
Beardo's plot. The entire thing. Not only was it seeing Beardo play Desmera, and him subsequently shaving his Beard off for the plot, but also getting to play a Toromite. With the first one I played, just as the Constable was about to vital strike me, I shouted, "For the glory of Torom!" and let out a contented sigh upon being struck. Then, the second Toromite, who used his "blessing" to constantly keep Izzy at 1 life, while the others skinned him alive. What fun. And then, after being killed, all they found from searching my body was "a contented smile." Good times. And, to top it all off, actually roleplaying out Tabris tracking him, coming across the orc cave after it all went down, finding some of the beard hair, and returning to the forge, thinking that the hair was all that was left of him. And, when he realized it wasn't, throwing it down in disgust. All in all, that was a really fun fun plot, and I was glad to be a part of it.
The whor- er... courtesans. Just... everything about them in general. I've decided that they are more or less the opposite of the sprites in Tabris' mind.
The return of the sprites! Tabris was so happy, and was more than eager to help them out. Anyone else notice how much he was defending them about the flowers being a simple mistake? And, the whole exchange of "We sprinkle the dust on you, and then you say, 'GIGGLES!'" ".........do I have to say it like that?" "Hm....... yes." XD
My brief stint as the apprentice to the Ardorian mage, mainly for everyone's hesitant and fearful reactions as we approached, and the fight with that.... beast made mostly of teeth, whatever it was. Awesome mask, I must say.
Returning with KB as the sprite, and just testing Tabris' patience to see how long he could put up with her ("Do you need a hug from Laroon?!"), and also keep her on task. It was something of a struggle, to be sure. And, having gotten too close to the flower, getting the thievery effect. It was very difficult to choose who to steal from, and with so little time left, but it was still probably a mistake to have chosen Cali, especially when what I pulled out was a pack of cloves. -.- Wouldn't have done me any good anyway. At least Stark didn't actually kill me for that...
The idea I got at the diner afterwords for a recurring plot. I'm going to do a lot of planning on it before trying to bring it into the game, but I think it will make for some VERY interesting developments...
Anyway, I've blathered on enough.
"I've heard stories of the brave warrior, this Chuck Norris, as he is called. They say that when he enters a room, he does not light a torch, he merely extinguishes the dark."
